What is an LED floodlight luminaire?
An LED floodlight luminaire is a high-output fixture that directs light intensely onto a defined area. It's used to light large spaces such as squares, sports fields, car parks, factory yards, ports and building façades. An adjustable mounting bracket lets the light be aimed at the desired angle.
Durability in an outdoor LED floodlight
An outdoor LED floodlight works outside year-round. FOKUS is built for these conditions with a one-piece die-cast aluminium housing, parallel cooling fins, an IP67 breather vent, a dedicated silicone gasket and 92%-transmittance tempered glass. The optional 10kV external surge protector gives added protection against grid fluctuations.
Power selection: from 50 W to 350 W
Luminous flux is calculated as power × 135 lm/W: 50–70 W (6,750–9,450 lm) is a starting point for façades and small areas, 100–150 W (13,500–20,250 lm) for car parks and storage yards, 200–250 W (27,000–33,750 lm) for squares and large fields, 300–350 W (40,500–47,250 lm) for wide areas on tall poles. We set the exact power with a lighting calculation.
