Choosing by pole type
Street lighting poles are usually single-arm, twin-arm or top-mounted. Single-arm poles suit streets and neighbourhood roads; twin-arm poles suit median-divided roads. A street pole luminaire's connection fitting must match the bracket diameter, with an adjustable mounting angle.
Pole height and spacing
As a starting point: 40–80 W for 6–8m poles, 80–120 W for 8–10m poles, 120–150 W for 10–12m poles. Pole spacing is usually 3–4 times the pole height. The right combination is found with a lighting calculation, keeping the pole count to what's actually needed.
LED conversion on old poles
If your existing street lighting poles are sound, you can switch to LED simply by replacing the luminaire — no infrastructure cost, with energy savings. Tell us your pole's bracket diameter and height and that's enough to choose the right luminaire.
Pricing for pole + luminaire projects
Because we manufacture the luminaire at our own plant, we offer street pole luminaire pricing with no middleman. On projects that also need poles supplied, we can plan the pole and luminaire together and present them in a single quote.
